Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for a Civil Engineer (Remote). Must be willing to travel to North Las Vegas, NV.

Position Overview:
This position is open to remote working with occasional reporting to NLV/ Mercury on an as-needed basis. We are starting this position with a 6-month agreement with the potential to extend up to 2 years. An experienced engineer is required to support ongoing civil design work in the Engineering Directorate. The candidate will provide support to design projects in the construction phase to ensure deconfliction of issues, along with the development of design documents. If required, the candidate will be responsible for development and configuration management products and the discovery of existing conditions. The candidate will ensure requirements are traceable and transparent throughout the project lifecycle, including design, construction, procurement, startup, and turnover to operations. Education/Degree: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required for all levels

Experience Requirements:

Engineer I - 3 Years Experience Min. | Training/Cert: 2

Engineer II - 5 Years Experience Min. | Training/Cert: 1 or 2

Engineer III - 10 Years Experience Min. | Training/Cert: 1 or 2

Engineer IV - 15 Years Experience Min. | Training/Cert: 1 or 2

Engineer V - 20 Years Experience Min. | Training/Cert: 1 or 2

Sr. Engineer/Scientist IV - 15 Years Experience Min. | Training/Cert: 1 or 2

Education/Experience Substitutions:

Certification - Professional Engineer's License will substitute for 4 years' experience.

Education - An advanced degree will substitute for 3 years' experience.
