OverviewThe ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently. Strong interpersonal and writing skills are critical.
The candidate will perform a variety of engineering work including, but not limited to, initial planning, design phases, and construction support of substation projects. Ability to manage the civil/structural aspect of substation projects with little oversight. Performs other duties as required.
Responsibilities- Perform as structural engineering responsible for execution of structural calculations and design on a multi-discipline team of engineers executing complex engineering projects for clients in the utility, renewable, and oil & gas industries.
- Coordinate with structural designers in creation and development of construction drawings.
- May be responsible for multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 5 or more years of civil engineering experience (preferably in solar / wind development / land development).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in site development, grading, stormwater design, erosion - sediment control.
- Experience in AutoDesk Civil 3D or Microstation InRoads.
- Experience in AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis and/or HydroCAD software.
- Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
