Civil Engineer to join our team in our
Lethbridge, Calgary or Medicine Hat office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on municipal infrastructure projects, including water mains, sanitary sewers, drainage, development and roadways. What you'll do:- Acting as the Engineer of Record for designs, technical reports, cost estimates, technical specifications and construction contract documents for work completed independently or by others through direct supervision.
- Leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept to design to construction.
- Executing tenders, constructability assessments, contract administration, and inspection of municipal infrastructure projects.
- Performing Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews for other Engineers of Record on project deliverables.
- Mentoring and coaching team of engineers and technologists on technical work and project management processes.
Does this sound like you?- Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience in design and construction of stormwater drainage, water transmission, sanitary sewer collection and grading projects in both brownfield and greenfield settings.
- Proven application of government and industry design, standards, specifications, regulations and guidelines for water, sanitary and stormwater infrastructure design and construction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D is considered an asset.
