DescriptionTeleSolv Consulting has an immediate opportunity to work with the Federal Government as a Civil Eng/Shore Infrastructure SME.
Responsibilities:- The Contractor shall provide a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support policy and process recommendations for major and non-major acquisition programs within Civil Engineering/Shore Infrastructure domain. The Contractor shall develop and provide expert-level policy development support and process recommendations for major and non-major acquisition programs within the Civil Engineering/Shore Infrastructure domain. These recommendations shall be informed by a deep understanding of, and adherence to, relevant acquisition policies and processes pertaining to Civil Engineering/Shore Infrastructure, including Department of Defense (DoD) or government agency shore infrastructure acquisition policies and processes.
- The CE/SI SME shall be able to perform the following tasks:
- Assist in the development and improvement of Acquisition policies and guidelines related to major and non-major CE/SI acquisition programs; identify gaps and inefficiencies in current policies and processes and propose adjustments or new approaches;
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation and briefing templates for CE/SI programs;
- Maintain currency on relevant CE/SI instructions in DOD and the government agency. Advise Office Chief on potential impacts to CG policies and provide recommendations for changes.
- Advisory Support
- The Contractor shall provide both consultation and written products as part of the advisory support for Civil Engineering/Shore Infrastructure. Advisory support tasks include:
- Providing expert consultation and advice on Shore Infrastructure/Civil Engineering policies and processes, both verbally and in written form.
- Developing comprehensive reports, white papers, and policy recommendations for improving CE/SI acquisition processes.
- Participating in meetings and working groups to offer technical advice and support decision-making.
- Preparing and delivering presentations to senior government agency officials on proposed policy changes and their potential impacts.
- Performance Metrics
- The Contractor's advisory support performance will be evaluated based on:
- Timeliness: Meeting deadlines specified in the Task Orders for consultation engagements and written products.
- Accuracy: Providing precise and technically accurate advice and documentation.
- Quality and depth of recommendations: Delivering high-quality, well-structured, and thorough written products.
- Stakeholder Feedback: Satisfaction of the government agency officials with the relevance, clarity, and usefulness of the advisory support provided.
