Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.• At least five (5) years of professional experience including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in this field or a closely related field.• Illinois Class D Driver's License.• State of Illinois Registered Professional Engineer/Civil Engineering License.
Special Requirements
Residency Requirements: Employees and Officers of the City must establish their principal residence within forty-five (45) miles of the City of Danville corporate limits within six (6) months following successful completion of their probationary period. Department Heads are expected to live within five (5) miles of the corporate limits.
Miscellaneous Information
Any employee of the City serving as a department or division head must establish their principal residence in Illinois, within five (5) miles of the City of Danville corporate limits within six months following successful completion of their probationary period.
