The Citrix Infrastructure Administrator will configure, administer, and sustain an enterprise Citrix environment supporting geographically distributed users. In this position you will be responsible for day-to-day health, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance, and security integration for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) and Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
As the
Citrix Infrastructure Administrator, you will:
- Configure and maintain CVAD and Citrix ADC (NetScaler), including associated access components (e.g., StoreFront, Citrix Gateway) as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user connectivity, latency, and performance issues across geographic locations.
- Perform routine patching, system health checks, upgrades, and firmware updates for Citrix infrastructure, hypervisors, and supporting platforms.
- Manage security and access, including Active Directory integration, user/group access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Automate provisioning and administrative tasks using PowerShell (or similar scripting).
- Document configurations and operational procedures; support incident/change workflows.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:- Active DoD Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Candidate must be willing to take and maintain a CI Poly.
- BA degree and 4+ years experience with enterprise virtualization architectures and Citrix technologies (e.g. XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Citrix Gateway/CVAD). Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- IAT II Certification (e.g. Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC)
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, SSL/TLS certificates.
- Citrix certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) or Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) - preferred.
