Full Job Description
Are you looking for ways to use your relationship building and fundraising expertise to live out your faith? The Director of Church Partnerships cultivates trusted relationships with churches, pastors, and church networks, mobilizing the Church toward deeper engagement in global mission, advocacy, prayer, generosity, and impact. This role combines strategic leadership, pastoral relationship-building, and advocacy mobilization. The Director will engage church leaders as co-laborers in ministry-listening, serving, and equipping them to respond to the needs of persecuted believers worldwide through biblically grounded advocacy and sustained partnership.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that moves churches from awareness to active, long-term engagement through advocacy, prayer, generosity and mission-focused partnership.
  • Cultivate and steward high-trust relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, and church networks, serving as a primary bridge between the organization and the Church.
  • Design and lead a biblically grounded advocacy strategy that equips churches to support and strengthen persecuted believers globally through prayer, awareness, public voice and action.
  • Translate ODI's advocacy content and strategies into compelling, actionable opportunities that inspire meaningful engagement by church leaders and congregations.
  • Equip pastors and ministry leaders with tools, resources, messaging and experiences that deepen understanding and mobilize response.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to create church-facing content pieces that are clear, compelling and appropriate for the church/pastoral audience.
  • Represent the organization through speaking, teaching, and relationship-building at churches, conferences and ministry gatherings.
  • Build and refine scalable systems, processes, and tools that support effective church engagement, advocacy and partnership growth.
  • Contribute to organizational strategy and serve as a trusted internal and external voice on church engagement, advocacy and mobilization.
  • Other duties as needed.

$86,000 - $129,000 per year
