Key Responsibilities

As a Chrysler Certified Technician at C. Harper CDJR, you will:
  • Perform Precise Repairs: Execute work specified on repair orders with exceptional accuracy and efficiency, adhering to dealership standards.
  • Expert Diagnostics: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to conduct thorough diagnostic procedures.
  • Ensure Optimal Performance: Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs and identify any additional issues, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Comprehensive System Repairs: Diagnose, maintain, and repair a broad spectrum of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and fuel systems.
  • Handle Complex Repairs: Tackle complex repairs, especially those involving intricate electrical and mechanical systems, with confidence and expertise.
  • Customer Communication: Work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about their vehicle's status, providing accurate time estimates for additional repairs.
  • Warranty Repairs: Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest automotive technology and repair techniques, committing to ongoing education and training.
  • Detailed Documentation: Accurately document all repairs and maintenance performed, ensuring records are comprehensive and up-to-date.
Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years as a Service Technician, with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification: ASE Certification is mandatory; Master Technician Certification is preferred.
