DESCRIPTION

Child Study Team Case Manager, School Psychologist or LDTC

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide daily support and case management for students in accordance with Board approved processes and curriculum.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate appropriate planning of the instructional program which serves to help assigned students achieve district outcome and process goals, and program/ course objectives both individually and collectively.
  • Know and use appropriate procedures in diagnosis, intervention, consultation, evaluation and program design for individual students.
  • Elevate individual students, analyze, formulate, and implement social/ emotional objectives., The psychologist shall include in his/ her examination an observation of the pupil, an interview with the teacher or other school personnel and an assessment of the intellectual, social, adaptive and emotional development of the pupil.
  • Demonstrate skills in interpersonal relationships with students, administration and staff, and with parents and community groups. The psychologists focus should include, but not be limited to, the social and emotional aspects of the educational program


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Appropriate New Jersey Certification required: LDTC or School Psychologist certifcation
  • Proficient in the use of instructional technology

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
  • Successful Criminal History Clearance

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

10 - Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position is Step 1 BA/BS + 45/ MA ($70,523) - Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.
