Job Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer is an executive role in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of a business, including staffing, administration and operational functions of the business. This role involves strategic planning, scheduling, execution, and collaboration across all departments to ensure all people are in the correct position for Feldmeier to be most successful.

Requirements

Essential Functions of Position:
• Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures.
• Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
• Effectively managing the project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Develop program plans, including timelines and milestones.
• Establishing policies that promote company culture and visions.
• Cross department collaboration to reach overall success.
• Working with managers to create strategies to maximize production and create the most efficiency and accuracy within scheduling.
  • Monitor program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  • Provide regular status updates and data for decision making to CEO.
  • Conduct post project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.
  • Act as an escalation point for issues that arise during projects that will impact the success of the overall program.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) with the ability to be the company subject matter expert
  • Leading employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Writing and submitting reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
  • Monitoring KPI's and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor operational teams, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assisting CEO where needed

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 5-7 years' experience within a management role, preferably within a manufacturing company.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be willing to travel locally and overnight to other facilities as needed.
• Multiple years of Experience with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional certification or degree in business analytics
• 5+ years of experience as a program manager
• Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role
• Demonstrates competency in strategic planning and business development
• Excellent interpersonal skills and public speaking skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, and maneuvering up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to handle stress and varying workload

Salary Description

$200,000.00-275,000.00
