Full Job Description
About You

You love to get your hands dirty and are comfortable being in the trenches problem-solving. You're a curious, "doer" type with a bias for action and a get s*** done attitude, but also know when to zoom out and examine the big picture. You have broad business management experience, operate well in ambiguity, and have proven your ability to communicate effectively across cross domains and teams. You have worked in early/small teams, are excited by a role you'll be able to shape, are a phenomenal team player, and want to save-the-damn-planet!

About Your Role & Impact

We are looking for a driven, high motor generalist who is extremely reliable, resilient, and is looking to join an ambitious company that will enable them to do their life's work. We are looking for someone with operational and business experience who can "figure it out" no matter the task, and then follow-through every time. Working directly with the CEO, you'll have a unique opportunity to build from the ground up, put structure where there wasn't any before, and help us scale revenue more than 5x over the next 24 months. You're specific responsibilities will include:

Business Processes & Operational Cadence

  • You'll be a key thought-partner to the leadership team, responsible for running weekly leadership meetings, holding team members accountable, and collaborating on key decisions.
  • Be responsible for preparing quarterly board meetings, investor materials & comms, monthly team all-hands, and collaborating with the leadership team to effectively run these meetings.
  • Be responsible for ad-hoc meetings and communications with investors both necessary and opportunistic.

Special Project & Partnerships

  • You'll operate as leverage to the CEO and executive team. You will be responsible for highly strategic special projects in addition to menial tasks to enable them to maintain focus on the most important items at all times, including:
  • Sourcing, vetting, and contracting vendors of all shapes and sizes for the business.
  • Managing company infrastructure, acquisitions, and executing contracts.
  • Helping with key fundraising activities: strategy, document creation, and partner nurturing.
  • Working closely with the leadership to define company quarterly and annual strategy.
  • Standing in for the CEO for external meetings and presentations.

What you Bring

  • 3+ years in a consulting strategy role, business operations, or a cross-functional role.
  • Proven track record of being a thought partner to leadership and an ability to build trust with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and process management skills that allow you to deliver across a diverse set of work streams including: setting strategic goals & underlying analysis, customer/partnership development, internal process improvements & documentation, and special projects.
  • You operate with high accountability, need little to no hand-holding, and have proven yourself comfortable in handling the ambiguity typical of early businesses.
  • You learn quickly, don't let yourself get stuck, and have a true bias for action, with the ability to deliver high quality work product quickly.
  • Sharp business judgment, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Passion for building incredible organizations solving the world's hardest problems, like climate change.
