  • Experience with program management spanning planning, execution, and project delivery, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

About the Job:

The Chief of Staff role sits in the office of the Managing Director of Global Security customer Engineering, and will be responsible for supporting the Global Security CE leadership team in shaping, driving, and monitoring initiatives aligned to key business outcomes.

You will partner with the Global Security Customer Engineering Lead and their directors, to develop and cascade high impact programs to advance executive priorities, including business cadence agendas, communications plans and content creation, internal and external meeting briefings, culture and recognition initiatives, and other strategic programs.

This is a high visibility, highly collaborative role, where you will team across functions and product areas with GTM leadership, executive offices, Strategy & Operations, Marketing, People Operations, and Communications, among others. The candidate will be comfortable working across multiple concurrent initiatives with strong attention to detail, ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a strong ability to translate ambiguous problem statements into workstreams and programs and influence cross functional execution and all levels.

The role will report to the Global Security Customer Engineering Leader, and play an integral role in a dynamic and high-impact team, with the end goal of delivering the greatest possible value and best possible experiences to Google Cloud's stakeholders and audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and facilitate executive cadences (eg, leadership staff calls, operating cadences), in alignment with overall rhythm of the business activities across CE operations and people activities.
  • Drive internal and external meeting preparation, including developing or overseeing briefing doc development.
  • Lead internal and external communications plans and recognition programs, including executing all teams, newsletters, announcements, and external presentations.
  • Own key programs and initiatives sponsored by executive leadership, collaborating cross functionally across all levels of Googlers to scope, manage and execute strategic projects to deliver business objectives.
  • Support execution of strategic change management initiatives across the Global CE business.
  • Maintain and nurture customer/partner relationships for Global Security CE leader proactively through continuous touchpoints that drive impact for the business.
  • Serve as deputy and proxy where needed, partner across Cloud and Google to maintain critical alignment to all areas of the business for the Global Security CE Leader.


Compensation + Benefits

Compensation for this full-time position includes base salary + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US Base Pay Range

$211,000-$290,500 USD
