JOB SUMMARY:The Chief Manufacturing & Support Services Officer provides the overall management of the service delivery system which includes production operations that supply products, supported employment for persons served based on individual needs, and are in compliance with applicable policy/procedures and regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Maximum of Eight)
- Develop and operate a service delivery system for employment and supported employment services that is cost effective, in compliance with agency policy/procedures and regulatory standards, and responsive to identified needs of the service area.
- Develop and implement a functional organizational structure, staffed with qualified personnel, and provide supervision to ensure a team approach to management activities.
- In collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer develop and manage the division's budget.
- Function as a member of assigned agency/division management teams, sharing pertinent information as needed with the Chief Executive Officer, program and administrative leaders, Board of Directions, peers, staff, and the public.
- Ensure the operational functioning and responsible use of the agency's physical resources (buildings, vehicles, equipment, etc.). Ensure the division's compliance with the agency's risk management plan through the implementation of applicable accident/incident prevention programs, training, inspections, and adaptive technology.
- Oversee and supervise the management of the Employment Support Services manufacturing/production operations to ensure compliance with operating procedures and regulatory standards and provide products/services that meet customer requirements. Oversee and supervise the Employment Support Services Director of Employment and the overall management and supervision of the ESS employment services to achieve program goals and meet applicable regulatory standards.
- Provide management to assigned staff resulting in their professional development and effective delivery of quality services to persons served and customers.
- In cooperation with the other ESS service directors/managers, ensure the provision of a quality management system in compliance with regulatory standards and resulting in services/products that meet customer requirements.
- Manage the oversight of maintenance and upkeep of assigned vehicles, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Minimum Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:- Concepts of employment programming for persons with disabilities
- Experience in basic fiscal or grants management; accounting, supervision, program and policy design, needs assessment, research methodology, and the application of these principle
- Skills in time management, organization, interpretation, evaluation, analysis
- Good oral and written communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Skills in and knowledge of manufacturing methods and standards
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Five years of recent relevant manufacturing management experience required.
