Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience at the senior level.
• Proven expertise in strategic financial planning and managing complex financial operations.
• Experience in leading finance teams and modernizing financial systems is crucial.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective leadership and trust building.
• YMCA Organizational Leader Certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting and cash management.
• Direct the development of budgets, forecast models, and long-term financial strategies.
• Oversee investment management, banking relationships, and annual audits.
• Act as a liaison for Finance and Investment Committees, providing financial analysis and strategic advice.
• Drive the modernization of financial systems and infrastructure within the organization.
• Mentor and supervise finance team members, including the Controller.
• Support compliance with fundraising and grant accounting requirements.
