Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Marsh McLennan Agency Private Client Services
Reporting to the President & CEO of MMA PCS and the Chief Financial Officer for MMA, the MMA PCS Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as the finance leader and strategic partner to the President & CEO, the Strategy Leader, and the Leadership Team, synthesizing financial insights into clear recommendations to inform strategic direction and business and function-related decisionsWe will count on you to:
- Lead finance and accounting, owning financial strategy, planning, and reporting. Partnering with commercial/producer-facing teams and functions (Marketing, HR, Technology), they will drive scalable growth, guide M&A strategy and execution, build forward-looking financial models, and support MMA PCS’s workforce and operating-model decisions — including producer development and validation modeling — all grounded in rigorous, scenario-based financial analysis.
- Own financial oversight and collections ofcarrier revenue streams(e.g., base commissions, profit-sharing/contingency, overrides, bonuses, fees, etc.)
- Contribute to the development of the firms strategic goals and objectives and the overall management of the organization.
- Focus leaders, through use of metrics and benchmarking, on finding ways to improve processes, work environment and margin improvement by challenging current workflows and introducing alternative workflows
- In collaboration with Sales Leadership and HR, provide strategic support for design and management of compensation frameworks that enhance producer economics and motivate performance.
- Lead and support M&A activity collaborating with the Strategy Leader and President & CEO of MMA PCS to identify and prioritize targets, leading financial due diligence, creating valuation and synergy-capture models, and driving post-close integration planning, tracking, and realization of expected benefits
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality through mentorship of staff
- Define and lead finance transformation initiatives implementing or optimizing ERP / consolidation tools, FP&A platforms, BI dashboards, data pipelines, and self-service analytics to speed planning and improve decision quality
- Drive integration of measurable talent analytics and reporting capabilities in collaboration with HR to enable real-time visibility into workforce metrics and trend analysis that support evidence-based decision-making, driving clear and consistent communication.
- Build and develop talent: recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing finance team and foster strong business partnering capabilities throughout the organization
What you need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Successful work history of 10+ years of finance experience leading FP&A, controllership, and strategic finance initiatives; demonstrable experience in leading M&A transactions (diligence, valuation, integration)
- Extensive experience collaborating with executive team to develop and achieve organizational goals
- Deep expertise in driver-based financial modeling, scenario planning, budgeting and forecasting, and advanced Excel; familiarity with modern FP&A/BI platforms and ERP/consolidation systems
- Experience in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or professional services is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders, influence cross-functional decisions, and lead complex transformation programs
- Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems, data governance, and self-service analytics
- Moderate travel expected for leadership, M&A diligence/integration, and key stakeholder meetings

- Prior CFO, Deputy CFO, or equivalent finance leader experience at a growth-stage business or within insurance/brokerage, particularly P&C
- Demonstrated track record scaling finance and operating models through rapid growth and/or M&A-driven consolidation
- Strong background in producer economics, sales compensation modeling, and commercial finance supporting go-to-market strategies
- Experience deploying modern FP&A tooling, automating processes, and creating actionable analytics/dashboards
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership

The applicable base salary range for this role is $137,200 to $240,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
