As Chief Engineer, you will work closely with our
Director of Engineering to drive positive change, elevate standards, and make a meaningful impact across our
18-acre resort. You will lead a skilled engineering team while playing an active, hands-on role in maintaining and enhancing the property. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality engineering leader looking to grow their career at a dynamic, resort.
KEY Responsibilities:- Lead and execute proactive Preventive Maintenance programs while responding efficiently to guest, member, and employee service needs.
- Recruit, train, develop, and motivate a diverse engineering team, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, painters, and general maintenance professionals.
- Actively support and advance the resort's Green Initiative, identifying innovative strategies to reduce environmental impact.
- Elevate overall property condition, safety, and guest experience through attention to detail and team collaboration.
- Foster a positive, high-energy work environment that balances professionalism with fun.

- Strong organizational and administrative skills, dedicating about 20% of your time to scheduling, purchasing, work orders, and communication.
- Extensive technical knowledge across HVAC/R, plumbing, and electrical systems.

This role is bonus eligible, with a potential annual incentive payout of 0%-33% of base compensation, subject to plan terms and performance criteria. This position is: $90,000-$95,000 annually.

Requirements
- A minimum of 8 year building maintenance experience.
- Good computer skills.
- Prior experience leading teams in a multi-faceted hotel or resort operation is required.
- Experience in a union environment is highly desirable.
