Full Job Description
North American Rail Solutions (NARS) is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead the company's marketing, sales and business development to achieve revenue and sales growth targets. This senior-level executive will provide management, leadership, and vision to ensure the organization meets its short- and long-term objectives. The CDO will create enduring policies and create a company reputation that strengthens broader objectives of the company and industry. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversees the sales strategies by defining and leading the business development across the organization. • Aligns the sales processes to meet and exceed KPI's • Builds strong relationships with the team, serves as trusted and confidential advisor to the c-suite and senior business leaders, while motivating staff to achieve sales and organizational objectives • Create and execute sales department strategies to meet all requirements, working specifically with operational leaders and their region's revenue targets. • Responsible for integrating the customer experience with sales growth and for industry reputation • Identifying key revenue sources and opportunities across North America, working to create synergy across US & Canadian business units. • Assessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external sales processes • Decision maker for long-term operational infrastructure, process, and procedure to support growth goals and financial targets • Metrics and data-driven executive that evaluates the company performance, forecasts future improvements, and recommends strategies to improve results • Collaborates with management and stakeholders to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies • All other duties as assigned Job Requirements Education: • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field Work Experience Required: • 10+ years business experience in a senior sales role • Knowledge of rail maintenance and/or commercial construction operations • Proven track record of achieving sales goals Skills & Knowledge Required: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Advanced sales leadership and organizational skills • Strategic planning and business development • Experience in budgeting and marketing • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with teams and implement changes • Ability to work in fluid environments, highly flexible and able to set/adjust priorities with market needs. • Excellent planning and time management abilities • Ability to multitask effectively Thank you for your interest in this position and for taking the time to apply.
