Position Summary
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center (CCOC) related to personnel management, company strategy, and succession planning. The CAO is in charge of specific departments including Human Resources, Information Services, Facilities/Environmental Services, and Rehabilitation, reporting directly to the CEO.

Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities
Operational:
Works in a team with top-level executives to devise strategies and policies to meet company goals. Compiles performance reports and provides updates to the CEO and Board of Managers. Attends regular meetings with the C-suite and Board of Managers. Organizes and coordinates inter- and intradepartmental operations to resolve issues with company's operations.

Addresses and resolve any issues or problems with company performance by reviewing processes. Reviews current and develops new policies for organizational departments. Collaborate with colleagues to implement policies and develop improvements. Executes workforce operational goals.

Champions operational excellence and organizational transformation. Leads process engineering initiatives (operations transformation project). Oversees resource allocation and departmental budgets. Set KPIs for the company's departments and management. Monitors KPI results and adjust expectations.

Strategical:
Provides overall direction through planning, policymaking, and coordinating a variety of activities. Provides input in business and strategic planning. Use good judgment in negotiating business deals while evaluating appropriate level of risk.

Participates in business and strategic planning, implementation of policies, development of improvements and other activities. Networks with existing and potential providers, partners, clients- building and nurturing these relationships. Reviews purchased service agreements and contracts and advises on finding ways to keep costs down.

Collaborates on new ways to increase company profitability. Studies target market and current market trends. Designs and plans for marketing and promotional strategies.

Oversees execution of advertising campaigns and other promotional events. Manage projects and prepare reports that inform Board Members about the company's performance.

Management, Staffing, and Performance:
Manages and supervises the day-to-day operations of various departments, such as Sales, HR, and Marketing, as well as other customer-focused departments.

Coordinates inter-departmental activities and delegates responsibilities to subordinates. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.

Assists in recruiting, hiring, and training upper-level company executives. Conducts performance reviews. Develop goals and objectives for departments and individual managers. Reviews labor management metrics. Coordinates organizational succession planning.

Continue self-development through attendance at various organization sponsored management development programs, professional seminars and conferences. Responsible for ensuring the continued development of staff.

All other duties not specifically assigned.

Position Requirements
Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar relevant field required.

Experience: Previous executive level working experience of eight years or commensurate experience required. Experience with fiscal planning, budgeting and reporting required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills required.
