Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships and reactions in a laboratory setting.
- Interpret test data and confer with scientists and engineers to develop non-standard tests.
- Review and approve technical papers, reports, standards and specifications for processes, products or tests.
- Develop, improve and customize products and analytical methods.
- Coordinate and advise other personnel in test procedures for analyzing components and physical properties of materials.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
- Requires 3 years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of materials in a laboratory setting including interpreting and documenting technical findings.
