As a Chemicals Account Manager (Lead Operations Specialist), you will manage chemical programs at offshore facilities, ensuring operational excellence, technical reliability, and strong customer engagement. You will play a key role in optimizing chemical treatments, maintaining equipment, and delivering value-driven solutions to customers.
As a Chemicals Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing and overseeing production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to customers
Providing on-site technical guidance and support for production operations, process engineering, and commercial queries
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing chemical treatment programs to support production efficiency
Managing chemical program operations, including inventory tracking, order management, rate adjustments, and reporting
Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of chemical injection pumps as required
Preparing and delivering technical reviews and proposing new chemical solutions to customers
Organizing routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to adapt to evolving customer needs
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying value creation opportunities
Communicating insights and opportunities to Baker Hughes leadership and internal teams

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a high school diploma
Have at least 5 years of experience in Upstream Production Chemicals Application & Operations
Demonstrate knowledge of process optimization and production chemistry
Have onshore and/or offshore operations experience
Be a self-starter with the ability to proactively identify problems and provide solutions
Demonstrate strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Have experience managing both client relationships and internal teams
