Joignez-vous à l’équipe Grid Intégration de Hitachi Energy et contribuez à la réalisation d’infrastructures électriques essentielles qui soutiennent un réseau énergétique fiable, sécuritaire et performant. À titre d’Ingénieur principal de projet, vous assurerez l’orientation technique de projets complexes de postes haute et moyenne tension tout au long de leur cycle de vie, de l’élaboration des propositions jusqu’à la conception, la construction et la mise en service. Vous travaillerez au sein d’équipes multidisciplinaires afin de relever des défis techniques, coordonner les activités d’ingénierie et soutenir la livraison de solutions conformes aux exigences des clients, des normes de l’industrie et des réglementations canadiennes. Ce rôle offre l’occasion de contribuer à la modernisation d’infrastructures existantes, à des projets d’expansion du réseau et à de nouvelles installations stratégiques. Votre impact

  • Diriger les activités d’ingénierie durant les phases de proposition, de conception, de construction et de mise en service.
  • Développer les conceptions de systèmes, notamment les schémas unifilaires, plans d’implantation, réseaux de mise à la terre et nomenclatures de matériel.
  • Coordonner les activités d’ingénierie multidisciplinaires afin de soutenir la réalisation des projets.

  • Évaluer les risques et les opportunités et recommander des solutions favorisant la sécurité, la qualité et la maîtrise des coûts.
  • Soutenir les équipes de chantier, d’installation et de mise en service dans la résolution d’enjeux techniques.
  • Évaluer les équipements et infrastructures existants dans le cadre de projets de modernisation et d’agrandissement.
  • Réaliser des revues techniques et de constructibilité afin de garantir l’atteinte des objectifs du projet.
  • Responsable d’assurer la conformité aux réglementations, procédures et directives applicables, tant internes qu’externes.

Votre expérience

  • Le candidat doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.
  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique.
  • Titre d’ingénieur professionnel (P.Eng.) au Canada.
  • Minimum de 8 années d’expérience en ingénierie de postes haute et moyenne tension.
  • Expérience dans des projets EPC considérée comme un atout.
  • Excellente connaissance des équipements de postes haute tension et des calculs de conception associés.
  • Expérience dans la conception de schémas unifilaires, systèmes de mise à la terre et configurations de postes électriques.

The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business and play a key role in delivering critical electrical infrastructure that supports reliable, safe, and efficient power systems. As a Project Lead Engineer, you will provide technical direction for complex HV/MV substation projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from proposal development and engineering design through construction and commissioning. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will help solve technical challenges, coordinate engineering activities, and support the delivery of solutions that meet customer requirements, industry standards, and Canadian regulatory expectations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to brownfield modernization projects, grid expansion initiatives, and new substation developments.
