Nous recherchons un chef de projet d'ingénierie pour l'entité Hydroélectrique Amérique du Nord de GE Vernova. Dans ce rôle, le chef de projet ingénierie (PEM) est responsable de l'exécution technique de l'intégration des composantes et sous-systèmes pour des projets large Hydro. La personne sera responsable de la coordination des fonctions de la gestion de produit, du Centre d'excellence d'Ingénierie et du Bureau de projet. Elle veillera à ce que les coûts et les performances des produits visés soient respectés sur le plan technique tout au long de l'exécution.

Responsabilités:
  • Définir les exigences des clients et la conformité du système aux spécifications contractuelles
  • Fournir des ensembles de travaux au Centre d'excellence pour le projet, notamment les exigences des clients, les interfaces, la planification, la performance, la fiabilité et les coûts conformément à ce qui a été vendu
  • Coordonner et contrôler les interfaces à l'interne, pour les clients et les partenaires, comme on le définit dans la matrice de l'interface (DOW), responsable des risques et des occasions d'opportunités ainsi que du mouvement de la marge concernant ce qui est défini dans la portée du projet
  • Gèrez et harmoniser la documentation technique (incluant la numérotation des documents sur l'utilisation et l'entretien de l'équipement)

  • Livrez les spécifications et les données d'interface aux partenaires (système, turbines, générateurs et ingénieurs civils). Responsable de la validation des schémas et de la documentation sur des aspects spécifiques des projets
  • Recevoir et coordonner les commentaires et les rétroactions des autres parties du processus (conception, chantier et client) du début de la conception de base jusqu'à l'approbation finale du produit, en incluant également l'information sur l'ouvrage terminé
  • Accepte ou rejette les changements en cas d'écarts par rapport aux exigences des clients ou les standards GE et gérez les modifications de commandes
  • Participe aux rencontres de révision de projets, aux rencontres d'étapes des projets
  • Coordonner le soutien des activités du chantier avec le Centre d'excellence


Qualifications :
  • Baccalauréat en ingénierie
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans l'exécution de projets et la conception technique de turbines et/ou de générateurs
  • Excellentes habiletés en communication et en gestion de projets
  • Qualités de meneur et de négociateur éprouvées
  • Habiletés analytiques et esprit stratégique
  • Expérience pertinente en planification et en gestion d'ensembles de travaux

We are looking for a project engineering manager for our Hydro Power North America division within GE Vernova. In this role, the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) will be responsible for the technical execution of the integration of components and product subsystems for large hydro projects. The PEM be responsible for the coordination of the Product Management, Engineering Centres of Excellence and Project Office functions. The PEM will ensure targeted cost and product performance are met on the technical side throughout execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Define customer requirements and the conformity of the system to the contractual specifications.
  • Provide WORK packages to the Centre of Excellence for the project, including client requirements, interfaces, planning, performance, reliability and costs in accordance with what has been sold.
  • Coordinate and control the interfaces internally, for customers and partners, as defined in the Interface Matrix (DOW)
  • Responsible for the risks and opportunities as well as the movement of margin on what is under project scope.
  • Manage and harmonize technical documentation (including numbering of documents on the use and maintenance of equipment).
  • Technical point of contact for customers and external partners.
  • At the design stage, identify alternatives and optimization opportunities that could impact the design, supplies or site operations, based on the strategy determined.
  • Deliver specifications and interface data to the partners (system, turbines, generators and civil engineers), responsible for the validation of schematics and documentation on specific aspects of projects.
  • Receive and coordinate feedback from the other parts of the process (design, site and client) from the beginning of the basic design to final product approval, also including information on the completed work and leads post-mortems to improve process.
  • Accept or reject changes in case of deviations from customer requirements or GE standards and manage order changes in conjunction with project management.
  • Participates in project review meetings, project milestone meetings.
  • Coordinates support of site activities with the Centre of Excellence.
