Full Job Description
As the Vice President of Program Management in Correspondent Channel Programs, you will lead complex, cross-functional business programs within the Correspondent Channel of Home Lending, with an emphasis on Non-Agency, Government (FHA & VA), and Builder programs and the delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives that improve market share, execution, controls, scalability, and partner outcomes.
This role requires an experienced program leader with strong governance discipline, the ability to influence across functions without direct authority, and a proven track record delivering multiple workstreams concurrently in a highly controlled environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in driving the business development strategy to support the growth of the correspondent initiatives
• Responsible for Agency relations associated with the Correspondent programs and partner with Client Management team to build and cultivate a strong pipeline of approved clients for the programs
• Field questions from the Client Management team and all stakeholders on specifics of transaction structure, delivery methods and current policies
• Partner with Client Management team as subject matter expert in explaining program parameters to the client and delivering comprehensive options and solutions tailored to the needs of the client
• Ensure all transactions are executed in accordance with policies, procedures and controls
• Collaborate with risk and legal in drafting, review, negotiation and execution of all supporting legal agreements related to the programs
• Establish client implementation schedule and responsible for all related tracking, reporting and internal and external communications
• Partner with Transformation, technology and business stakeholders to ensure execution and ongoing success of short and long term channel objectives
• Monitor program deliveries and responsible for identifying potential issues/risks and provide recommendations for the resolution of all program risk events
• Perform Internal Partnership Management, including regularly occurring meetings with key stakeholders in correspondent, agency relations, servicing, credit risk and capital markets
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Five years of Mortgage business/industry knowledge required, especially the Correspondent business
• Bachelor's Degree
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Pitch Pro and PowerPoint
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills
• Proven partnership experience in working across various departments and lines of business
• Exposure to Mortgage Finance including Pricing, Secondary Marketing operations, mortgage servicing and file delivery requirements. Understanding of agency deal structures and legal documentation
• Proven track record of drafting and reviewing complex legal agreements as well as end to end ownership of various types of servicing acquisition programs
