Job DescriptionCharge RN- Surgery located at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. Position is Full Time and will work 8-hour Evening shifts (11:00am-7:30pm) The Operating Room (OR) Charge RN provides
clinical leadership and operational oversight of daily surgical services while maintaining
direct patient care responsibilities as a circulating nurse across all surgical specialties. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant perioperative care delivery, balancing
real-time operational coordination with hands-on intraoperative nursing practice.
Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications: - Circulating experience in the Operating Room strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years recent OR experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated competency in circulating across multiple surgical specialties
- Charge or leadership experience
- CNOR preferred
