Charge Registered Nurse (RN)- Operating Room Ambulatory, Tridant Solutions Inc. is currently looking for a Charge Registered Nurse- ORto service in Santa Monica, California area.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Clinical Supervisor (CS) is responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager or Director in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit. It is expected that the CS manages and coordinates the unit, directs and supervises caregivers, functions and activities, interprets policies/procedures/protocols, standards, and regulations as appropriate. CSs scope of responsibility spans all aspects of nursing care. The CS maintains clinical competence and certifications to assist the unit when required.
DUTIES- Keeping organized and following patient care plans exactly.
- Administering medications and using medical equipment.
- Communicating clearly and honestly with people from all backgrounds.
- Keeping good records and maintaining patients' charts.
- Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations.
- The ability to work as part of a team in an acute care facility/hospital.
- Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight, and working in environments where there may be infectious material.
- And other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS- National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) certification
- A valid nursing certificate, BSN, or MSN degree from an accredited college or university.
- A valid unencumbered RN license for the State of California.
- The appropriate license to work in their state/county.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification. (Preferred)
- Must have at least 12 months of relevant consecutive acute care experience in this specialty.
- Must have at least 12 months of relevant charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing clinical Supervisors
- ANCC-recognized specialty certification
- Current vaccinations and health clearance certification.
- Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
- Must have previous experience with starting IVs.
- High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with patients during stressful experiences.
- Strong organizational abilities and good communication skills
- Fluent in English.
WORK LOCATION- Santa Monica California Area
HOURS OF OPERATION- Full-Time Shifts May Vary
- Willingness to Travel - Always
COMPENSATION- $105,000-174,000 Annually
