Charge Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Surgery
Full-Time | $45-$48/hour
Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Location:
Gainesville, GA 30501 or Athens, GA 30606

What You'll Do
As Charge Nurse, you'll provide clinical leadership while coordinating patient care and supporting efficient, safe operations across the surgical continuum.
  • Coordinate daily clinical activities, including staffing and workflow coverage.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and support staff.
  • Supervise support personnel and reinforce established clinical protocols.
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment responses, and document clinical findings.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members.
  • Provide nursing care during pre-operative, procedural, and recovery stages.
  • Partner with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes.
  • Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Maintain facility standards, professional ethics, and evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.
Preferred
  • Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management.
  • Experience with Athena EHR.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • CPAN certification.
