About The RoleThe Channel Planner supports the planning and performance management of the Direct-to-Consumer channels' sales. This individual will partner closely with the Associate Director of Channel Planning to analyze and drive sales across the Retail and Ecommerce channels. They also contribute to evaluating inventory position & identifying opportunities and risks to achieving the financial targets. The role is highly collaborative and analytical, requiring strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. The role often partners with Finance, Buying & Channel teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, luxury retail environment and is eager to contribute to both strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assist in forecasting sales for all DY direct to consumer channels, at the channel and product category level.
- Support the Associate Director with in-season forecast process.
- Analyze & report on weekly and monthly sales performance at the channel, store, product & KPI level. Identify risks & opportunities across channels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively flag issues impacting channel performance.
- Analyze sales & inventory to provide strategic recommendations to maximize sales & inventory turn in collaboration with Omni Buying team.
- Address impromptu reporting & analysis requests from cross-functional partners, store teams and field sales teams.
- Assist with executive-level presentations and materials, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Serve as functional expert on data projects.
Essential Qualifications & Technical Skills/Competencies- Minimum of 2-4+ years' experience within Business Management, Merchandise Planning, Buying, or a related field
- Retail, Wholesale or Finance experience a plus
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel to analyze data & create planning models (advanced skills preferred)
- Experience working within Retail systems (e.g., Toolio, Sigma)
- Ability to reflect appropriate sense of urgency and identify business partners to resolve problems and share information
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to reconcile various data elements through manual processes
- Ability to synthesize data and make business recommendations based on reporting findings
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Education: Bachelors Degree Required

Estimated Base Salary: $85,000-95,000
