The Channel Performance Lead is a key member of the MarketPoint Performance Excellence team, responsible for driving performance visibility, insights, and accountability for a designated sales channel. This role serves as the primary performance management partner to channel leadership, translating business results into actionable insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Performance Excellence, the Channel Performance Lead will analyze channel performance, identify opportunities and risks, support performance planning, and deliver reporting that connects frontline activity to business outcomes. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights effectively with leaders across MarketPoint.
The Channel Performance Lead will work closely with channel leaders, Finance, Operations, Data & Analytics, and other business partners to ensure consistent measurement, reporting accuracy, and execution of performance management processes.

Core ResponsibilitiesChannel Performance Management- Own performance reporting and analysis for an assigned MarketPoint channel.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, trends, and business outcomes.
- Identify emerging risks, gaps, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Develop a deep understanding of operational drivers and performance levers within the assigned channel.
- Serve as the primary performance advisor and reporting partner to channel leadership teams.
Reporting & Analytics- Produce recurring performance reporting, scorecards, dashboards, and business review materials.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to explain performance variations and identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Support development and maintenance of channel-level KPI frameworks aligned to MarketPoint standards.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established governance processes.
Business Reviews & Leadership Support- Prepare materials and insights for weekly leadership meetings, staff reviews, and monthly business reviews.
- Partner with channel leaders to develop data-driven narratives that explain business performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to directors, VPs, and senior business leaders.
- Track action items and support follow-through on performance improvement initiatives.
Performance Planning & Decision Support- Support forecasting, target-setting, and performance planning activities.
- Assist with compensation-related performance reporting and incentive measurement processes.
- Analyze agent-, market-, and channel-level performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support business cases and ad hoc analyses to inform strategic and operational decisions.
Continuous Improvement- Identify reporting enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
- Partner with Data & Analytics teams to improve data accessibility and performance visibility.
- Contribute to the evolution of MarketPoint performance methodologies, scorecards, and reporting standards.
- Help establish best practices that create consistency across all MarketPoint channels.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics, performance management, operations, finance, strategy, or related functions.
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and delivering business insights to leadership teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize large data sets.
- Experience creating and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other reporting and visualization tools.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in Medicare Advantage, health insurance, insurance distribution, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of sales performance measurement, productivity management, and channel analytics.
- Experience supporting forecasting, target-setting, or compensation performance processes.
- Familiarity with agent, producer, or sales force performance reporting.
- Experience building executive-level presentations and business review materials.
- Understanding of KPI development, scorecard design, and performance management methodologies.
- Experience working with large data sets and translating analysis into business actions.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
