Full Job Description
The Change & Technology Lead has primary responsibility for planning and executing the full Technology and Change agenda for a single manufacturing plant in Alliance, Texas plant. This role drives digitalization, automation, data strategy, artificial intelligence, and robotics, ensuring technology is tightly integrated with lean manufacturing operations, business strategy and vision, and delivers measurable business impact. This position is also accountable for building the organizational structure, and team required to sustain and scale digital and automation capabilities at the plant level.

You will make an impact by:
  • Document new technology requirements and execute the site technology solutions aligned with plant and business objectives.
  • Lead structured change management to ensure adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
  • Lead digitalization initiatives including MES, connected equipment, digital workflows, and shopfloor IT systems.
  • Implement the business' data strategy, including data governance, platforms, analytics, and reporting.
  • Enable the use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to improve quality, throughput, predictive maintenance, and decision making.
  • Design and build the organizational structure required to support automation, data analytics and digital manufacturing.
  • Establish governance, prioritization, and performance tracking for the automation and digitalization portfolio.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, IT, and Supply Chain to embed technology into daily operations.
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and external partners related to technology and automation programs.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical, organizational, or change related challenges.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in executing manufacturing technologies, automation, or industrial IT.
  • Strong understanding of automation systems, robotics, and digital manufacturing architectures.
  • Working knowledge of network fundamentals (e.g. subnet, vlan, routing, dhcp, etc.)
  • Proven ability to lead changes and influence across functions in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience building, developing, and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience deploying MES, IIoT, or smart factory solutions.
  • Experience programming PLCs
  • Hands on experience with AI / advanced analytics use cases in manufacturing.
  • Experience scaling pilots into standardized, repeatable solutions.
  • Background in Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence.
  • Experience working with communication protocols (e.g OPC/UA, IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, RS-485, and RS-232, etc.)
  • Experience defining and executing data and analytics strategies in an operational environment.
  • Experience working in greenfield, ramp up, or rapidly expanding manufacturing environments.
