The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Chair of Community Services, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Natural Environment to provide academic leadership to faculty, staff, and students within the Schools of Community Services, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Natural Environment programs. The Chair is responsible for academic management of these programs, ensuring effective development and delivery. The Chair focuses on quality academic programs, excellence in teaching, service, and commitment to student success.

What you need to be successful:
  • Master's degree in Education, Community Services, Interdisciplinary or Natural Environment, or a related field
  • An undergraduate degree in Social Services, Criminal Justice, Human or Natural Environment service-related education, or a related field
  • 7-10 years' post-secondary experience
  • Several years of progressive administrative experience
  • Strong and effective leadership and team-building skills
  • Extensive knowledge in curriculum design and development, program planning, and budget management
  • A student success approach to the teaching and learning process
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

This is a full-time administrative position. Salary range is a Pay band 13, $115,032 and $153,374 and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
