Key Responsibilities- Serve as strategic financial partner to the CEO, Board, and PE sponsors
- Lead all finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, and reporting functions
- Oversee financial due diligence, integration, and modeling for acquisitions
- Prepare the company for a future transaction and maintain investor-grade reporting
- Direct forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning (including 13-week cash flow and multi-year models)
- Manage Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting and monitor project margin variance
- Enhance real-time operational dashboards and performance analytics
- Oversee month-end close, GAAP compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls
- Drive improvements in working capital, DSO, and cash conversion cycle
- Partner with operations and pricing leaders to optimize margins across service and contract work
- Evaluate macroeconomic impacts (tariffs, supply chain, labor) and adjust financial strategy accordingly
- Provide financial oversight on fleet strategy and CapEx optimization

- HCM platform currently transitioning to a new system (Workday/Dayforce/ADP evaluation underway)
- Established audit function with national firm
Must-Have Qualifications- Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience in a PE-backed environment
- Experience within a $500M+ revenue organization
- Proven success supporting a service-based roll-up or acquisitive platform
- Deep operational finance background with strong business partnership skills
Highly Preferred- Construction Services, HVAC, Mechanical Services, or Field Services experience
- Mastery of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting
- Demonstrated M&A integration leadership
- Experience with union labor environments
- Strong operational KPI and dashboard-driven leadership style
