Role Description:
The Operations Leader will support the warehouse team and ensure accountability and accuracy of the processes being carried out daily. In this role you will lead processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in operational projects, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Operations, this position provides leadership to warehouse personnel while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, company quality requirements, environmental health and safety standards, and customer expectations.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for leading the logistics processes to ensure both inbound and outbound are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Act as the operations expert regarding the verification of paperwork, aircraft engine component inspection and logistics processes in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Assist all employees with questions and concerns with the part quality and paperwork associated with parts in order to determine its acceptability to company and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees inventory management to ensure efficient storage of product and works to increase location accuracy.
• Assist and ensure all warehouses are working to CFMM standardized processes.
• Maintains the scrap and non-conforming parts programs.
• Assists the Director of Operations in daily tasks and acts as the person in charge of the department in his/her absence.
• Facilitate training for new and junior members as required to maintain qualifications.
• Uses his/her knowledge and experience to identify problems and opportunities for improvement and propose actions to address them to the Director of Global Operations.
• Responsible for meeting all established cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Manage facility maintenance programs and vendor relationships.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization by leading internal safety team.
• Review, process, and approve operational invoices for payment while assisting with budget management.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop warehouse employees.
• Verify compliance with FAA, ASA-100, AC 00-56, ISO 9001 and company quality requirements.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Organizational Details:
CFM Materials LP is a joint venture of GE and Safran Aircraft Engines and is the world's largest provider of used serviceable material for CFM56 engines. We support companies worldwide through warehouses and sales offices near DFW Airport (TX, USA), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cardiff (Wales) and Singapore. In addition to its core operation, the company also sells surplus inventories for CFM International and provides inventory for its parent companies' MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) network around the world.
Candidate Education and Experience
Required:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Aviation or Business Management, Suppl Chain Management, Logistics or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, aftermarket parts distribution, or related industry
Desirable:
• Advanced level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Experience with management enterprise software (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc)
• Experience with CFM56 engines and used serviceable material strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation traceability requirements, and release certification documentation
Work Environment:
This job is operated in a professional warehouse environment. In the warehouse, this role may also be used in powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Travel Specificity:
May require 5-10% travel.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
