Job Summary

At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered.

Manage and direct the activities and performance of approximately 8+ mast associates and contractors within Clean Energy Solutions. Lead the overall administrative and operational support of the Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicles and Solar program teams. Manage multiple Business Support processes including but not limited to CES Business Continuity Planning, Intern program, Training development and administration, and Security efforts. Perform self-assessments and monitor compliance with corporate administrative policies, procedures, and Standards of Business Controls.

This is a hybrid position reporting to Newark General Office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the oversight and management of all departmental Invoicing and Procurement activities. This includes in the areas of purchase orders management, PO requisitions creation, credit cards, service entries, goods receipts, journal entries and accruals. Manage all invoice processing activities and ensure invoices are approved within company policy and associated Delegation of Authority (DOA). Subject matter expert in the areas of Payroll Administration, Purchasing Cards, Invoicing, Purchase Orders, and vendor communications and provides guidance and training to the team.
  • Lead administrative operations, including departmental mailboxes, SLT coordination, facilities support, software ordering, and conference approvals.
  • Lead and manage the invoice validation QA/QC process for CES programs.
    Identify, lead and implement continuous improvement, process optimization and automation opportunities.
  • Manage departmental storm assignments, response deployments, communications and coordination with Customer Solutions and Utility organizations.
  • Manage the non-outreach Conference attendance process for CES employees. Review submissions present requests to SLT for approval, create and secure 930 approval.
  • Lead the development and coordination of all CES Business Continuity Plan (BCP) deliverables. Coordinate with PSEG Corporate Security, IT, Procurement, Health & Safety and external vendors to develop and execute the Disaster Recovery plan. Build annual plan with input from department subject matter experts. Execute and operationalize the BCP and all related deliverables in accordance with PSEG practices.
  • Manage the CES Intern Program, including workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, program coordination and evaluation.
  • Oversee CES onboarding and offboarding programs, ensuring employees and contractors receive or return required access, equipment, PPE, training and company assets.
    Manage the CES training catalog and matrix.
  • Determine gaps in the training catalog and work with Subject Mater experts to develop the training. Maintain the overall department matrix of training (300+). Oversee the assignment of training to CES current and new hires based upon position.
  • Facilitate CES SLT and All-Hands meetings - including setting agenda, facilitating meeting, circulating & coordinating action items, following up on deliverable execution.
  • Manage the SAP, SharePoint and shared drive security in accordance with PSEG practices
  • Manage the purchase and tracking of company assets such as cell phones, laptops, and computer equipment.


Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Business, Operations, or HR and 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive background in Utility Operations with broad knowledge of utility administrative and operational processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of internal controls, processes and procedures of business standards and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation and persuasive management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations to a variety of audiences and facilitating CES Leadership and All Hands meetings.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, Ariba, emPower, Concur, Catalyst, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Supervisory experience in the instruction and training of personnel with various work practices and their use of related IT systems.
  • Must possess and maintain a U.S. valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Previous experience administering SAP security.
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
