Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-operative patient assessments.
  • Determine and communicate the plan of care to patients and families.
  • Establish and maintain essential venous access.
  • Ensure establishment and maintenance of airway.
  • Induct and monitor anesthesia during procedures.
  • Complete anesthesia administration and oversee patient emergence from anesthesia.
  • Transfer care to appropriate staff following procedure completion.
  • Conduct post-operative follow-ups for each case.

$240,011.20 - $250,016.00

A Brief Overview

Cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.

What you will do
  • Performs a pre-operative patient assessment.
  • Determines a plan of care and communicating the plan of care to patient and family.
  • Establishes and maintains essential venous access.
  • Ensures establishment and maintenance of airway.
  • Responsible for inducting, maintaining the anesthesia, and proper monitoring.
  • Responsible for completing the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia.
  • Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure.
  • Performs post-operative follow-up for each case performed.
  • Perform as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.
