Aurora Medical Center Summit is seeking a
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative anesthesia team serving patients in
Oconomowoc and the surrounding southeastern Wisconsin region.
Position Highlights- $100,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Competitive compensation range: $121-$159/hour
- No call responsibilities, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required
- 5 x 8-hour shift schedule
- Rotation through two ambulatory surgery center locations
- ACT Practice Model
- Guaranteed additional shift opportunities with premiums of +$75-$100/hour above base rate
- 30 days PTO with additional accrual based on years of service
- 40 CME hours annually
- $2,250 CME allowance
Responsibilities- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Administer anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings.
- Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing teams, and procedural staff.
- Participate in post-anesthesia evaluations and patient recovery planning.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- License/Registration/Certification Required:
- Active RN, and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice, AND
- Active national board certification as CRNA by nationally certifying board (NBCRNA).
- Active DEA registration prior to hire
- Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical site/practice and/or role prior to or within 6 months of hire
- Education Required: Master's Degree in Nursing
- Experience Required: No experience required. Experienced CRNAs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED- Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency, and excellent decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective member of a health care team.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technology and proficiency with the electronic medical record.
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with and establish/build relationships with others.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
