Full Job Description
We are seeking a customer-focused CO (Certified Orthotist) to join the team at a leading biomedical device manufacturer. The successful candidate will design and fabricate custom prosthetic limbs and orthopedic braces.
• Conduct patients' conditions to determine orthotic device needs
• Design and fabricate custom orthotic devices using various materials and tools.
• Fit patients with orthotic devices and make any necessary adjustments for comfort and functionality.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on the proper use and care of orthotic devices.
• Perform regular follow-up appointments to ensure devices are functioning correctly and make adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
• Maintain detailed patient records, evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in orthotic technology and techniques.
