Physicians Choice Home Health is hiring a
full-time or part-time/per diemCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Home Healthcare Team and see patients in the
South Bay LA Area. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. You will work closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
What You'll Do- Provide in-home occupational therapy visits under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
- Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team
Requirements- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Active California COTA license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes
- Home Healthcare experience
- Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)
