Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000 / Year DOECertified Financial Planner Responsibilities: - Deliver deep, holistic financial planning, including estate, tax, and special needs considerations
- Meet firm and client service standards of a fee-only registered investment advisory
- Contribute to business development, potentially earning a percentage of first-year fees for new clients
- Assist with new account paperwork and wire transfers to understand operational processes
- Conduct tax and retirement projections
- Participate in client meetings, taking notes and potentially presenting portions of discussions
- Communicate effectively with a diverse client base, utilizing video conferencing and in-person meetings as needed
- Research and analyze financial data to support planning efforts
- Oversee the execution of financial plans
- Collaborate with advisors on complex questions and issues
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance planning skills
Certified Financial Planner Requirements: - Active CFP designation is required for all advisor roles
- Experience in a registered investment advisory or comparable deep-planning environment is preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing advisors or teams is preferred
- Willingness to work onsite in College Station is required
- Comfort with deep, holistic planning across tax, estate, and multi-generational considerations is required
- 2-5 years of financial planning experience is required
- BA degree is required
- Additional credentials such as CFA, CPA, or JD are preferred
- Experience at a firm of similar size is preferred
