Full Job Description
Amentum is working with the Department of War (DoW) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to design and develop a formal certification program for Counter Threat Finance (CTF) professionals. The intended audience for the certification program are analysts from the DoW, Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), and Intelligence Community (IC) who qualify for the Threat Finance Certification Program (TFCP).

Seeking a highly organized operational support professional to serve as the team's Certification Operations Specialist / Proctor Lead for the Threat Finance Certification Program (TFCP).

Position Summary:

The Certifications Operations Specialist / Proctor Lead will leverage their expertise in operational logistics and pipeline management to oversee the end-to-end certification candidate journey from initial inquiry through final credential issuance. Concurrently, they will be responsible for serving as the vital operational bridge between daily team activities and strategic schedule management by capturing ground-truth action items and feeding task updates to the Project Operations Coordinator. This is a tactical execution focused on coordinating proctoring logistics, maintaining official records, and supporting the daily operational machinery of the program.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Journey & Pipeline Management
  • Guide applicants from their first inquiry through successful credentialing.
  • Track candidate progress through every stage of the certification lifecycle.
  • Maintain exact, up-to-date tracking logs for all program participants.


Testing Logistics & Proctor Coordination
  • Manage all operational logistics for the examination proctoring process.
  • Coordinate schedules and resources required for secure test administration.
  • Ensure seamless execution of daily testing workflows and protocols.


Operations & Project Integration
  • Serve as the primary link between daily team tasks and project schedules.
  • Capture real-time, ground-truth action items from ongoing operations.
  • Feed daily progress updates to the Project Operations Coordinator.
  • Execute tactical, day-to-day administrative tasks to keep the program running smoothly.


Applicants must meet conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen at the time of application
  • Must have a valid/ active Top Secret/ SCI Government Security Clearance
  • Are subject to an initial background investigation and periodic re-investigation
  • Are subject to an initial and periodic counterintelligence-scope polygraph tests
  • Are subject to initial and random drug testing; (Important Note: Drug testing cannot be conducted outside the continental U.S.)


Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant administrative or operational support experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to generate structured reports, track candidate databases, and draft official correspondence.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40-50 WPM) to facilitate real-time note-taking and rapid task capture during meetings.
  • Demonstrated experience working with secure/classified communication networks, MS Teams, Video Teleconferencing (VTC) suites, and secure virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Proven experience with manual data entry, data validation, and digital file structure maintenance.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to interact professionally and confidently with personnel at all echelons (from action officers to executive leadership).
  • Demonstrated history of executing tasks effectively within a high-tempo, collaborative team environment.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Highly Desired: Prior experience supporting a program office, with familiarity in military staff procedures.
  • Experience working with a U.S. Federal government Department or agency.
  • Experience capturing complex action items in fast-paced meetings and translating them into clear, actionable tasks for a project manager or scheduler.
  • Familiarity with basic project tracking frameworks (e.g., action item logs, milestone tracking, or Plans of Action & Milestones [POA&M]).
  • Prior experience managing a customer/candidate pipeline, coordinating proctoring schedules, or administering training/certification databases.
  • Experience managing Microsoft SharePoint portals, MS Planner, MS


Compensation Details:
$85,000 - $96,000 Annually
