Job Summary
The CEPO Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of complex engineering projects within Cyient, Inc., ensuring technical excellence, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the technical aspects of CEPO (Cyient Engineering Project Operations) projects from conception to completion.
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to achieve project objectives.
* Conduct detailed engineering analysis, design, and calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee the testing, validation, and commissioning of engineered solutions.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices within Cyient.
* Ensure all project activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field) required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related technical role, preferably within an engineering services or manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and engineering analysis tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
* Experience with relevant industry standards and regulations.
