Responsibilities:
General Purpose: Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Through interdisciplinary collaboration, early intervention, education, and evidence-based practice, the team helps reduce preventable complications, improve readiness for surgery, and support a smoother recovery. Seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Nurse Manager to lead this important work. Ideal opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who thrives in an evolving environment and is energized by building programs, improving processes, and bringing teams together around a shared vision. Will provide clinical, operational, and people leadership for the Center for Perioperative Medicine. The successful candidate will guide the program through continued growth and change while promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and patient-centered care. BSN required, MS preferred required within 5 years.
