About the Role

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will serve as the most senior revenue and go-to-market executive over Government Solutions: targeting federal, state, and local government agencies. This is a true C-suite role requiring an exceptional operator who can architect and execute a scalable, multi-market growth engine while maintaining Hippocratic AI's commitment to safety and clinical excellence.

You will define and lead Hippocratic AI's global commercial strategy - spanning government agencies. You will own revenue, pipeline, partnerships, and the commercial operating model end-to-end. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team with direct influence over product direction, market positioning, and organizational investment priorities.

This is a foundational C-suite role that will define Hippocratic AI's long-term commercial strategy, revenue architecture, and market position. The CCO will be a core member of the Executive Leadership Team with direct access to the CEO and board on all matters of commercial strategy, market expansion, and go-to-market execution.

What You'll Do
  • Enterprise Revenue Strategy & P&L Ownership - Define, own, and execute Hippocratic AI's full commercial strategy across the government market.
  • Set and deliver against company-wide revenue targets, margin goals, and growth KPIs. Own the commercial P&L end-to-end.
  • Enterprise & Channel Sales Leadership - Build, scale, and lead a world-class enterprise sales organization. Establish repeatable, high-velocity sales motions and channel partnerships that drive consistent pipeline generation and revenue growth across all verticals.
  • Strategic Partnership & Deal Architecture - Identify, negotiate, and close transformational multi-year agreements with government agencies.
  • Cross-Functional Go-to-Market Alignment - Serve as the commercial integrator across product, clinical, marketing, legal, and finance. Translate market signals into product investment priorities and ensure organizational readiness to scale deployments.
  • Market Positioning & Competitive Intelligence - Own Hippocratic AI's commercial narrative and positioning. Drive category creation in the healthcare AI market by shaping how enterprise buyers, partners, and investors understand our differentiation and value proposition.
  • Policy, Regulatory & Market Access - Partner with government affairs and regulatory leadership to ensure commercial strategy is aligned with evolving healthcare policy, reimbursement frameworks, and AI governance standards. Translate regulatory dynamics into market opportunity.
  • Product Strategy Partnership - Serve as the voice of the customer and market at the executive and board level. Channel deep commercial intelligence into Hippocratic AI's product roadmap, pricing architecture, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Commercial Team Building & Organizational Design - Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class commercial organization - spanning sales, partnerships, account management, and revenue operations - creating the talent infrastructure and culture needed to win at scale.
  • Executive Representation & Thought Leadership - Represent Hippocratic AI as a recognized industry authority at the highest levels of enterprise, government, and media. Drive brand equity, executive trust, and market confidence in safe, mission-driven AI in healthcare.
What You Bring

Must-Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution strongly preferred.
  • 15-20+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, including significant tenure as a senior revenue or go-to-market executive (VP of Sales, CRO, CCO, or equivalent) at a high-growth technology or healthcare company.
  • Proven government sales experience, with a track record of selling into federal, state, or local government agencies and navigating complex public sector procurement processes.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing board-level decisions, closing nine-figure enterprise agreements, and representing organizations at the highest levels of industry.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and inspire world-class commercial teams - spanning sales, partnerships, account management, and revenue operations - in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Track record of deep cross-functional collaboration with product, clinical, engineering, and finance leadership to align commercial strategy with product roadmap and organizational investment priorities.
  • Deeply aligned with Hippocratic AI's mission and a demonstrated commitment to improving healthcare outcomes through responsible, safety-first AI.

Nice-to-Have:
  • Prior experience as a CCO, CRO, or President of a healthcare AI, digital health, or health IT company.
  • Experience scaling commercial operations in government/public sector channels.
  • Experience navigating FDA, CMS, or state-level regulatory environments as part of commercial strategy.
  • Deep familiarity with AI/ML product commercialization, value-based care models, and population health management platforms.
