Full Job Description
What You'll Do:
  • Position will operate within the AF/A4C.
  • Responsible to AF/A4CX for developing and advocating for DAF capability needs into all CBRN Defense Science and Technology initiatives under AF/A4C program management oversight.
  • Analyze CBRN threat and ensure DAF CBRN Defense modernization efforts align with defeating or mitigating the threat.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations on CBRN Defense Modernization issues to Government representatives on direction and oversight of Air Force stakeholders supporting Joint Capabilities Integration Development System analysis. Coordinate with multiple offices, agencies, and organizations to develop analysis and courses of action.
  • Provide to senior DAF leadership decision analyses and provide documentation for major issue resolution.
  • Review, analyze, and provide recommendations for policy, guidance, and strategic documentation affecting CBRN peacetime and wartime contingency operations.
  • Assist in managing and overseeing AF interest through all phases of the DoD acquisition cycle for the four major Joint (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) Defense Programs before fielding equipment.
  • Prepares briefings, BBPs, or other documentation in support of working groups, integrated product teams, and tiger teams analyzing CBRN requirements, programs and issues.
  • Recommends corrective actions to the DAF government representatives.
  • Assist Government representatives in ensuring AF CBRN equities are captured in AF, Joint, DoD and NATO planning and programming documents.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with AF enterprise to develop and ensure AF equities are advocated for at all Joint/OSD-led CBRN defense research, development, and acquisition phases IAW JCIDS process and the AF vision, mission, and goals.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years' experience in Emergency Management (EM) and CBRN defense operations across a full spectrum threat environment.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
  • Must have an active Top Secret/SCI and NATO clearance on day one.
  • Air Force experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.

Location Requirements

This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working at the Pentagon.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
