Job Qualifications
Five years of indirect expense, and/or concession contracting/procurement experience, and/or government contracting officer experience.
Or
Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, or related field and three years experience in indirect expense, and/or concession contracting/procurement experience, and/or government contracting officer experience.
Associate must complete all required training and be otherwise fully qualified to obtain contracting officer authority certification within 12 months of selection.
Major Duties
Under general supervision, oversee and participate in the administration of contracts from routine and moderately complex. May perform duties of lower-graded positions as needed.
Participate and lead in development and fulfillment of complex contract requirements throughout the contract lifecycle. Provide guidance to lower-graded contracting associates.
Participate in contract negotiations and execute tactical sourcing activities.
Confirm necessary procedural controls exist. Identify any potential risk or compliance issues.
Ensure all contract documentation is compliant with organizational and regulatory standards. Prepare reports as needed.
Manage vendor relationship, monitoring vendor performance to include compliance, quality, and service. Resolve associated issues promptly.
Collaborate with business units, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Act as business advisor to internal customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
