- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk mitigation activities.
- Lead RFQs, negotiations, contracting, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and logistics teams to support sourcing decisions.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capacity, and industry developments.
- Support new product introductions and supplier onboarding activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sustainability requirements, and supplier standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable savings.
Knowledge/Education:- 5+ years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree mechanical engineering.
- Intermediate Excel experience.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing suppliers of heavy weldments, fabricated assemblies and precision machined components with strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements and supply chain risks.
- Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects in a global environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
