About the roleCommercial Finance position driving financial analysis and planning, ensuring financial controls and business partnership with Marketing Team.
Your responsibilities- Manage partnership with Marketing Team to "own" the brand P&L.
- Monitor brand performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing fluctuations vs plan and prior year.
- Participate in corporate planning and quarterly forecast by brand ensuring data quality and meeting timeline required.
- Support for all innovation projects providing accurate financial information to key stake holders for decision making purposes.
- Understand and influence drivers of all brand P&L buckets in support of division objectives, challenge and validation of assumptions. Obtain and provide clarity when numbers are off trend and work with team to course correct. Ensure attainment of financial and stretch objectives as committed.
- Ensure the necessary accounting controls and policies are followed.
- Manage Gross Margin Variance Analysis and identify opportunities to support and drive the earnings model.
- ROI analysis, from a sell in point of view and sell out. Advice best practices and add value giving financial evidences to support strategical decisions.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and improvements to accommodate business needs.
- Maintain positive and proactive interaction with Marketing and Finance Team to ensure ongoing exchange of quality financial information.
- Lead special projects or analyses as required.
The experience we're looking for- BS degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA a plus.
- 5-7+ years of financial experience in Finance or Planning and Analysis.
- CPG/ retail or similar experience
- Strong system direction and interaction (SAP, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent organization skills and ability to understand and analyze data logically.
- Ability to operate in a highly focused, entrepreneurial environment and expected to challenge and influence business decisions based on fact-based information and meaningful analytics.
- Interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding of problems and development of cooperative solutions.
- Ability to interact face to face with confidence and credibility to achieve financial commitments.
- Ability to provide financial support and handle multiple tasks within an open and interactive environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and a team player.

US pay transparencyThe base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
