About the Role

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Therapy to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an ambulatory clinic setting. In this role, you will administer intravenous (IV) and injectable specialty medications, including biologics, while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

You will conduct pre-treatment assessments, safely deliver therapies, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate patients to promote adherence and positive outcomes. This role is ideal for a clinically strong, detail-oriented nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Perform pre-treatment patient assessments (medical history, contraindications, eligibility)
  • Initiate and manage peripheral IV access and central lines using best practices
  • Prepare and administer IV and injectable specialty medications, including biologics
  • Monitor patients during and after infusions; identify and manage adverse reactions
  • Document all patient care activities in electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and side effects
  • Maintain medication inventory, traceability, and support audits/compliance
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and clinical teams
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of new staff as required


Basic Requirements (Minimum Education & Typical Experience)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active, in-good-standing provincial license (Canada)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (infusion therapy, ambulatory care, or specialty clinic)
  • Hands-on IV infusion experience or infusion certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience (Career Framework aligned)


Preferred Skills / Experience
  • Experience administering biologics, oncology treatments, or specialty medications
  • ACLS certification
  • Experience managing infusion-related adverse reactions
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Experience using EMR systems and clinical documentation tools
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to support multiple clinic locations


Travel, Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Onsite role in a clinical setting
  • Travel between clinics within the region may be required
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and manual dexterity (IV insertion, medication administration)
  • Ability to lift and move clinical supplies and equipment

$32.36 - $53.90
