Full Job Description
Client Care & Treatment

  • Enrolled in Stanford University's psychiatry residency program
  • Provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, including psychopharmacology, to Casa del Sol (CDS) patients
  • Coordinates with primary care, hospitals, and other specialties, whether at La Clinica or external, regarding medical needs of Behavioral Health clients


Knowledge
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology
  • Cultural competence working with under-resourced and/or immigrant communities
  • Knowledge and experience with Epic
  • High degree of interpersonal competence with both staff and patients, and thorough knowledge of evidence-based care

Abilities
  • Ability and willingness to work effectively as an interdisciplinary team member to improve and support the care of CDS patients
  • Ability to deal courteously and effectively with complex patient profiles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish professional and clinical relationships with people from various ethnic, socio-economic, educational and life experience
  • Ability to keep accurate and clear records of patient information

Experience and Other Certifications
  • Requires valid California medical license and DEA
  • English/Spanish proficiency preferred but not required
