TO: All Kettering City School District locations and outside locations as designated by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.

POSITION: CAREER TECHNOLOGY CENTER PRINCIPAL

Effective 2025-26 School Year

LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL

GENERAL INFORMATION: Applicants must possess a current Ohio 7-12 High School Principal License.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:

  1. Promote career tech programming opportunities across the district.
  2. Monitor ODEW data compliance measures.
  3. Supervise and provide instructional leadership to career tech staff members.
  4. Budget management (weighted funds as well as Perkins grant).
  5. Serve as liaison between the district and Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium and Career Technology Center Compact.
  6. Assist with the building scheduling process for career tech programs.


QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:

  1. Valid Ohio administrator license.
  2. Career tech leadership experience, preferred.
  3. Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
  4. Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  5. Educational technology skills.


SALARY: According to the approved administrator salary schedule.
