Qualifications

• Completion of a formal 24-month Radiologic Technology program or equivalent military program.
• Certified as a Cardiovascular Technologist or eligible for certification within 6 months of hire.
• Registered in Radiography (R) preferred, with cardiovascular (CV) or interventional (CI) registry.
• Previous experience in a procedural area preferred.
• Ability to complete Cath Lab RT Orientation and all competency checks within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check equipment before and during cardiovascular procedures.
• Assess patient condition, providing necessary care and positioning.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
• Utilize downtime efficiently by stocking rooms and checking equipment.
• Foster strong working relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
